Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC - A Govt of India Enterprise-Mini Ratna), East Zone, Kolkata invite applications for engagement as Apprentice Trainees (ITI holders) under Apprenticeship Act-1961 in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade/discipline for a period of one year as a measures of skill building initiative for the nation as detailed below.

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) 25 vacancies Reservation as per Govt. of India guidelines to be followed/ applicable

 

Experience Required:   

Fresher / Experienced both can apply

 

 

Age Limit:

Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 25 years as on 01.04.2022. (Relaxation to SC/ST-5 yrs., OBC-3 yrs., Ex-Serviceman-10 yrs., Differently abled-10 yrs)

 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Educational Qualification:

The Applicants should have already passed the prescribed qualification on 01.04.2022 as under :-

Educational Qualifications : Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.

Technical Qualifications : ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in COPA trade

Trades under which apprentices are to be engaged : Computer Operator and Programming

Assistant (COPA).

Selection Process:

Me. Selected based on a merit list created based on grade percentage

Acquired in the entrance examination. In a grading system of grading as the average of

ii. If two applicants have the same grade, the older applicant.
